I have never used a pressure cooker, but my grandma used to cook her potatoes in one and make awesome mashed potatoes!
I've pretty much only used mine for cooking beans so far, which then go into chilli or burritos or hummus or..... pretty much anything!
Don't have a pressure cooker but I want to win!
Aside from the normal beans (which it does an awesome job) and brown rice, fantastic risotto...just about 5 minutes and NO stirring.
Just one thing, though, you should be sure to get a stainless steel one!
Nice and hearty soups and stews!! Can't go wrong.
I only do beans really, but I don't think I could live without it!
Potato and leek soup with pine nut cream.
If I had a pressure cooker it would be my go to gadget for beans. This way I can tame my hummus cravings faster. :)
I don't have any type of cooker... not a rice, slow, or pressure one. :(
Pressure cooker is a kitchen tool I don't have.
I don't have a pressure cooker or a great pressure cooker recipe :( I do love pancakes and waffles!
I love making seitan in the pressure cooker! Takes much less time and has a great flavor (although I just started using the slow-cooker and that's really great too!). Also, I love pressure-cooked short-grain brown rice - really delicious. :)>>>
I love chili from the pressure cooker. Or, more accurately, I love chili from anywhere. :)>>>
tomato soup with roasted red peppers
Unfortunately, I don't own a pressure cooker, but I dream of owning one and a Vitamix wouldn't hurt either. One day I will have a badass kitchen.
I've never cooked anything in a pressure cooker!! Beans would be great.
I've actually never used a pressure cooker except for canning and preserving so...applesauce :P
I heard they make a mean bean though, so I should try it sometime...
I can only wish I had a pressure cooker, maybe a Christmas present! ;)
