I fifth the seitan question. I love it from the store and at restaurants, but when I make it at home it is gummy and I cry. What is the deal?

I would ask him what his favorite Thanksgiving dessert is.  As much as I love pumpkin pie, I am always looking for new and interesting vegan desserts.  :)

I have to say I'm going to go along with the making your own seitan question. I've never made it before, and I want it to be a good first-time experiance :p

I would like advice pairing vegan wine to my field roast and how the heck do you make a good vegan whip cream??

I missed the chat but I guess I would have asked for advice on  a good vegan whipped cream.  I have made the coconut oil one and it is good but far from perfect.

I haven't tried this yet, but it makes more sense than most of the other ways I've seen. I've never had a vegan "whipped topping" that I liked.

I would ask how to make camote(sweet potato) and calabaza(candied pumpkin), two Mexican sweets.
