Weekly Giveaway: My Vegan Recipe Journal! vivelatoast is the winner!

If you're like me, you have about a million random recipes laying around. I've got stacks of them that I've clipped from VegNews, photocopied from friends' collections, and just jotted down when inspiration struck. It's a staight-up mess. To help me contain my hoarding habits, I recently grabbed My Vegan Recipe Journal (http://www.amazon.com/My-Vegan-Recipe-Journal-Organizer/dp/1441305238), an awesome organizational tool that lets you consolidate your favorite vegan recipes from magazines, blogs, books, and your own kitchen, by writing them down within the 10 different food categories provided. Genius! It's revolutionized my recipe life, and you totally need one, too.

For your chance to win the journal,  let me know what your favorite fava bean or cherry (or both!) recipe is. Winner will be chosen at random! Must live in USA to win.

Good luck!

p.s. Are you getting the VegWeb Weekly? It's our free and food-filled newsletter and you can sign up by just entering your email on the home page or on this page in the left hand bar!

I really love Fava Bean Hummus - but I saving some extra fava beans to chop up and add in at the end to make it chunky!! So you have the combination of creamy and chunky in a delish dip!

That's right! I'm a chunky peanut butter girl too! I love food with texture!!

You should try it! I've done it before and it tasted delicious. You just make the hummus as normal but instead of chickpeas, add the fava beans.

Fava bean garlic hummus with garlic pita chips, oh jeesh that stuff is good.
Cherries, I love black cherry cobbler or this cherry dip dish my grandma use to make. That stuff was to die for.
