Since "Ramble On" by Led Zeppelin (my fave) has already been mentioned, here are a few others.  How about "Ramblin Man" by The Allman Bros., "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd, or "Born To Be Wild" by Steppenwolf.

i AM going on a "road trip" in less than two days.  it will be a 3-4 day trip.  i need more than ONE song!!!

so i will be listening to these artists:  the cure, hole, silverchair, poe, garbage, bitch & animal, madder rose, marilyn manson, tegan and sara, jaques brel, the doors, and probably every other cd that i own that isn't too slow (i'm afraid pink floyd and opeth would make me fall asleep since they are so soothing!).

eta:  if i do happen to win, i won't have internet!  but sarah and andy (sirdidy) both have my phone number!  and sarah will have my address once my package reaches her.  (she's going to wait by the mailbox until it gets there!  too bad over night is uber expensive so it's going to be 3 or 4 days...)  i trust that they wouldn't try to claim any prizes i did so happen to win!  well, maybe not andy.

JUST KIDDING!

Hmmm.  I have too many favorite songs, and I usually listen to podcasts when I'm driving...  And I haven't taken a road trip in a long time...  However, I really want to win this, so I am going to answer, anyway!

This is totally ridiculous, but listening to "Glamorous" by Fergie & "S.O.S." by Rihanna always makes me really happy when driving.  8-)

"Matchbox" by Jonny Lang. It's hard to stay anywhere near the speed limit when it's playing!

"Hella Good" by No Doubt. This is a great one for when you finally hit the highway and can put the pedal to the mettle!

i love anything from lifehouse for a road trip. or coldplay. especially spies by coldplay. my dad would always play those two bands when we'd drive to the mountains and i guess it just stuck.

Billy Joel"s "Downeaster Alexa". I have no idea why, but I could listen to this song over and over in the car. I don't even believe in fishing...but well there's just something about that song!

I would like a nice mix of Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, and Kelly Clarkson.  Because I like to sing.  No shame.
