Weekly Giveaway: Appetite for Reduction! winner is mamarati!
Well, she's at it again. Vegan goddess, Isa Chandra Moskowitz, has written a book that makes healthy eating sexy and delicious. I'm impressed. I mean, we all knew she could do it for cupcakes and cookies, but Brussel sprouts? She's gone above and beyond. Appetite for Reduction (http://www.theppk.com/books/appetite-for-reduction/) is the perfect cookbook. It makes healthy food delicious and brings perspective to the phrase, "diet food". No more chemicals and fake foods, these are whole foods that make you feel a whole lot better. I'm also excited to see a book about nutritious eating that isn't just about weight loss, but rather about becoming a healthier you. Pretty freaking cool.
For your chance to win a copy, let me know what your favorite winter veggies dish is.
Giveaway ends on Tuesday, January 18th at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random! Must live in USA to win.

mmm improvised stews! example: oatmeal, red beans, lentils, garlic, onions, tomatoes, kale, cayenne pepper, sea salt, thyme, paprika
So far it would have to be the take on tuna casserole from this site that uses chickpeas in place of tuna. I leave out the potato chips though, its awesome enough without them!
My favorite winter vegetables are roasted sweet potatos & brussel sprouts with garlic.
