I also want this book!  I'm just getting into the wonderful world of cookbooks....and I need some more!

For new years, my husband's family is coming over to party - at least I hope it's to party and not just sit on the couch and stare at each other.

No plans whatsoever. Never have had plans on New Year's Eve, and I have never really understood what it is that we are celebrating???  Time passes regardless of the attention paid to it, doesn't it?    But anyway, I'll put my four-year-old, my three-year-old, and my two-year-old down to bed at 9 pm, and then my husband and I will stay up reading until we pass out from fatigue (usually around 10:30 or 11).

We're driving to Albuquerque. Overnight so hopefully the baby can sleep through most of it.

For new years eve, I will spend 4 hours on a train, and then 1.5 hours at the bf's dad's friend's party (awkward not knowing anybodyness will ensue), then I will go home and start making a ton of vegweb recipes for the party my bf is having for all his hs friends the next day!

It sounds boring, but after traveling over 4,000 miles in less than 10 days, I'm just staying home and celebrating the  new year with hubby and kitty.  Maybe I'll make black bean and tomato burritos ....

I do not have plans for new years eve.  I'll probably be sleeping before midnight.   :)  I'm thinking nachos are on the menu tomorrow, though.

My goal is to eat healthier and exercise more.  I have put an elliptical trainer on layaway and I can hardly wait to pay for it so that I can use it.  I am also working on getting an advanced degree in complementary alternative medicine and I am taking a nutrition class right now.  Those are my plans for the new year...as far as plans for the new years eve...I have to work, and so does my spouse, so we'll be doing nothing but sleeping and welcoming in the new year in our dreams, lol.  and like everyone else, I think this would be a great book to have!

In our 30 years together, my S/O and I have made it a routine to avoid going out on New Year's Eve. Too many crazies and drunks driving large machines . So we'll be staying home with the dog, watching the Times Square celebrations (which we once attended in person while living in Manhattan....never do THAT  again!), drinking champagne and hoping for a better year for everyone.  (You can send me the book now).

Probably just hanging out with the neighbors, and a little champagne at midnight.  Then mimosas the next morning!
