KissMeKate (or KMK, how she is known on the threads!) is a total sassy delight and it makes sense that she should be one of our inaugural Superstar VegWebbers because she is an important, active part of making the VegWeb community what it (fantastically) is! That was maybe the craziest sentence I've ever typed but you get the idea, KMK is FABULOUS. I was reading her responses over in the, "Is Honey Vegan?" debate thread and I found myself saying, "right on!" outloud more times than I care to admit in a public place. Anyway, it's obvious she knows her vegan stuff and is completely awesome. Also, her answers to the questionnaire rule and she's TOTALLY right about listening to Reggaeton when you cook! Everyone MUST try that.

3)  Where do you call home? I grew up and went to school in upstate New York.  Now I live in Hartford, Connecticut.

4) What do you do when you're not on VegWeb? I’m a teacher; I paint and do arts and crafts; I run and go to the gym

6) Do you tweet? No, because I don’t really understand why it’s so awesome…??

7) One unique thing should know about you? I studied engineering but now I teach kiddies about fractions and percents and it is 100 times harder.  Also, I am teaching myself ukulele.

8 ) What’s the best thing about being vegan? Surprising people with vegan baked goods that taste just as good as the ones they are used to.

9) Favorite romantic recipe on VegWeb? The “Best Tasting Pancakes Ever!  Vegan or otherwise.”  What’s more romantic than making pancakes with your sweetie on a Sunday morning?

10) Favorite recipe on VegWeb to make for non-vegans to show them how amazing vegan food can be? “Jenny's Famous Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal, Coconut, Walnut Cookies” always go over well for me.

11) Favorite Holiday VegWeb recipe? Green bean casserole. My dad loves it.

12) Best/Funniest/Most delicious/Most disasterous experience you've had making a recipe on VegWeb? Hmmmmm. I don’t think I have one! Time will tell.

13) One thing you wish you could make vegan but haven’t succeeded at yet? Sometimes I just really want a cheese pizza. A pizza that captures the essence of a cheese pizza. I haven’t found it yet.

14) #1 Cooking secret/tip? It’s not really a secret, but I like to chop and prepare everything first, then cook.

15) Best music to cook by? Reggaeton. Try it.

16) Three people you'd most like to have dinner with? Isa Moskowitz, Colin Campbell, and Johnny Depp.

17) All time favorite restaurant? You know, I feel I’ve yet to discover my favorite veg*n restaurant. I’ll have to say Aladdin’s. It’s a Mediterranean restaurant in Syracuse and Ithaca, NY.

18) French fries or ice cream? Ice cream, just because there are more different flavors to choose from.

19) Soy milk, rice milk, almond milk? Soy milk. But hazelnut milk trumps all.

20) Tempeh, tofu or seitan? Tofu, because it’s the most versatile.
