Superstar VegWebber of the Week: intheend!

This week's Superstar VegWebber is the fabulous intheend (http://vegweb.com/index.php?action=profile;u=106361). intheend is the BEST. Not only is she building up our Cookbook Lab with a million and one super helpful reviews (her review of Pan-fried tempeh with sofrito from Viva Vegan inspired me to BUY THE BOOK), she's funny, awesome, and an amazing new-ish addition to the VegWeb community. Read her answers below and let her know how much we adore her, and encourage her to keep those reviews coming so I know what to buy next!

VegWebber since? I'm a newbie.. last year =)

Vegetarian, Vegan or ? Vegan

Where do you call home? Los Angeles

What do you do when you're not on VegWeb? I am a voracious reader who likes to travel, especially at the same time.

Do you have blog or website? Nope

Do you tweet? No, my  ninja-status would have be revoked.

One unique thing should know about you? I'm a lesbian who only ever has straight male friends.

What’s the best thing about being vegan? (if you are!) We are often told or hear the statement "One person doesn't make a difference" but this lifestyle makes it apparent that, indeed, we do have an impact on a daily basis. Animals don't suffer or cease to live for our meals, which is the central reason why I adhere to this lifestyle.

Favorite romantic recipe on VegWeb? Insanely Good Spinach-Artichoke Dip. It's not romantic but does a mouth orgasm count?

Favorite recipe on VegWeb to make for non-vegans to show them how amazing vegan food can be? Egg McVegans! I've made this for 2 very picky omni's and they just raved about them.

Favorite VegWeb recipe for fall? Or Halloween? Super Moist Chocolate Cake.

One thing you wish you could make vegan but haven’t succeeded at yet? Lemon meringue pie.. oh how you are missed.

#1 Cooking secret/tip? Meal plan for every day of the week and make your grocery list based off of that. It saves time and money. That's completely unoriginal but I swear this has changed my life!

Best music to cook by? I'm all over the map on this one- 70s rock, oldies but goodies, trance, 80s, trip-hop, etc.

Three people you'd most like to have dinner with? Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Charles Bukowski, and Philip Zimbardo.

All time favorite restaurant? Cinnamon Vegetarian in Echo Park

French fries or ice cream? Homemade ice cream

Soy milk, rice milk, almond milk? Almond milk

Tofu, tempeh, or seitan? Tofu for the versatility.

yesss, great choice!

Even though I don't own hardly any of the books I love reading recipe reviews and yours always sound mega tasty : )

congrats!
