What do you do when you're not on VegWeb? I study, play way too many computer games, volunteer for Oxfam, cook (and sometimes even clean!) and fritter away time on the Internet.

One unique thing should know about you? I played Alice in Wonderland in a school play when I was 13. And I know the Greek alphabet despite never having studying Greek.

What’s the best thing about being vegan? (if you are!) I love vegan baked goods. For some reason they come out great for me every time and vegan cakes don't go dry and crumbly within days.

Favorite romantic recipe on VegWeb? Spinach Salad with Orange-Soy Dressing, Candied Almonds and Sweet Potato Croutons. Admittedly I haven't made this but the awesome pictures and reviews make me think this would be a perfect light dinner for two :)

Favorite recipe on VegWeb to make for non-vegans to show them how amazing vegan food can be? AllyChristine's Thai-Inspired Veggie & Rice Soup. It's so great, I've made it several times with different ingredients and measurements and it never fails to wow people.

Any New Years' Resolutions? Work hard, play hard :)

One thing you wish you could make vegan but haven’t succeeded at yet? ... cheese. Heh.

#1 Cooking secret/tip? Don't set yourself on fire by accident. I can't stress this enough.

Best music to cook by? Anything upbeat - CK and the punk rawk VegWebbers will disown me but I love blasting Fall Out Boy when I cook. I mean... I AM TOTALLY METAL AND LISTEN TO SLAYER. Yeeaaah.

Three people you'd most like to have dinner with? Mark (dmarkd) because I don't get to see him enough, Maya Angelou because she'd have amazing stories to tell and advice to give, and - omg! - Robert Smith although I'd probably have to take a couple of Valium first. In fact, that would make a pretty fantastic dinner party. Especially if we all had a crack at the Valium.
