Web Resources for Veg Parents

I looked through the threads and didn't see one already started for this topic. Forgive me if I just missed it. I just wanted to share a new website that I am loving that you might not have heard of. It's called http://SpawnBetter.Com and they feature articles about being vegan parents/raising vegan kids. There have been some great articles so far.

I also love the boards and articles at Mothering.Com. I only recently found out about Mothering magazine and I love it. It's like Parents for hippies.

Just noticed the SpawnBett3er.Com site redirects to StayingVegan.Com. It looks like they changed the name and broadened their subject matter. I hope they still have a lot of parenting posts from here on out, but the ones they've had are worth a looksee.

Cafemom.com has a vegetarian & vegan forum for Mom's that is really great as well.

I love Spawn Better - now Staying Veg!  They helped answer a question about omega-3s for me & my kiddo.

If it's not immodest, I'd love to throw my little website -- Vegbooks.org -- out there.  Vegbooks features book and movie reviews from a variety of veg perspectives.  Contributors include veg parents & educators.

Recent titles that have caught our interest include Pete & Pickles by Berkeley Breathed, Duck at the Door by Jackie Urbanovic, and The Twelve Gifts of Birth by Charlene Costanzo ... but we've reviewed over a hundred, so be sure to check out our book and movie indexes.

p.s. - Vegetarian Resource Group sponsors a listserv for veg parents on yahoo.  That's also a great web resource.
