Vitamins with Lead....moms and kids!

http://www.treehugger.com/files/2008/09/lead-in-vitamins.php

So yeah, I've been spending a TON of money on Nature's Plus Vitamins for my sons all these years thinking they are way better than Flintstones. Now I don't know what to do!!! The FDA says the levels are ok, but still.
Noah was tested for lead a few years ago and his level was the lowest the lead center had ever seen (less than 1 %) Apparently it is unusual, these days, to test at 0%. He has pretty much taken these all of his life.

So do I stop giving them vitamins?

Are Flintstones even vegan? Probably not!

Crap.... I was taking Rainbow Light's Pre-natal up until last week for months to help get my levels up, I just switched to their Women's.... ugh, just what I need.

Oh, okay, not sure if this will help you all or not, but I just noticed this article and study are from 2008. I wonder if the makers did any changes in the last three years.

Thats so annoying, I always paid extra for Rainbow light prenatal!

I have always been too scared to give Kea vitamins, we have her blood levels tested for B12, etc...and the only thing she has ever been a little low on is iron, which we immed. increased with hemp seeds, cereals, and quinoa. We give her some Udos as well but no vitamins as of now.
