Yve's Good Dogs no longer vegan??
I haven't been able to find the Good Dogs in stores around me anymore, so I went online to see if they had stopped making them. The description of them says "With added dairy, The Good Dog now tastes more like a real meat hotdog!"
I know I'm not the best label reader, so can someone spot the milk here for me, so I can learn?
Ingredients:
water, isolated soy protein, vital wheat gluten, canola oil, spices, hydrolyzed corn protein, salt, natural flavors (contains autolyzed yeast), modified vegetable gum, dextrose, dehydrated onion & garlic, vitamins & minerals (thiamin hydrochloride, cyanocobalamin, calcium panthothenate, ferric orthophosphate, iron oxide, zinc oxide, dimagnesium phosphate, dipotassium phosphate), carrageenan. CONTAINS: SOY and WHEAT. Manufactured in a facility that uses egg ingredients.
Also, the image of the package they have up still has a label that says VEGAN on it. Help?
It seems I emailed them about this a couple years ago. If I recall correctly, they said the added dairy bit was an error. I don't know why they wouldn't have corrected it by now. Maybe put in an email to them.
yeah, i can't really see what would be dairy in there. the only thing is the natural flavors... but yeah, i'd double check.
That is so bizarre. wow.
