Whats your favorite store bought cereal?

When I went on my crash diet at first all I ate was cereal.... Then I realized the calories to amount of food ratio was actually pretty crappy.  I then stopped eating it for a while but now I have it on occasion.
So my question is what are your favorite store bought cereals?  Mine are:
Kashi Go Lean High Protein & High Fiber Cereal (I just found this a few weeks ago and love it!)
Shreaded Wheat (I prefer the plain but I still like the frosted)
Raisin Bran (tons of sugar but its a delicious classic)

:bump: because I just bought some cinnamon toast crunch, and it has no milk, and it is amazing.

like the regular General Mills CTC is vegan? that was my favorite cereal ever... the leftover milk was the best part!

I think most of the GM stuff has animal-derived vitamins in them. Same with Kellogs. I'd contact the company just to double check :)

Yeah, it doesn't specify D2 or D2, just says "vitamin D."

When I researched this a while back when they first started adding vitamin D, both Kellogs and GM said they used D3 because of its bioavailability.  I doubt that has changed.  I don't think Quaker adds it to theirs.  I don't usually buy cereal anymore.  I guess it just depends on how strict you are.

That's weird, because a lot of cereals specifically say the D number.  >:(

I just had cold cereal for the first time since going vegan the other day.  It was the Cinnamon Puffins.  They were pretty darn tasty!

The Mango Peach Passion by Peace Cereal might be my new favorite cereal. Crispy corn flakes with lightly sweetened little oat clusters and bits of mango and peach. The "real mango and peach pieces" aren't as big as they appear on the picture on the cereal box. But the cereal is still quite good. Love the oaty, sweet, crunchy combination of flavors.

Front of box says All Natural, Low Fat and Vegan. 10g or more of Whole Grain.

Side of box says Nothing artificial, No preservatives, No synthetic additives, Grown and processed without GMOs.

The cereal will make your tummy and heart happy. 10% of profits from the purchase of the cereal support community projects such as food banks and school programs.

Nature's Path Organic Whole Grain Brown Crispy Rice cereal (gluten-free): Pretty good. Kellogg's Rice Krispies has a slightly better crunch.

I love Peanut Butter Puffins by Barbara's Bakery. They're these crunchy puffy little peanut butter pillows with a subtle cornmeal taste. Lowfat. Not too sweet.

I was getting tired of Cinnamon Life, so I tried Kashi Cinnamon Harvest. I didn't have huge hopes, since I've never loved Kashi before, but I really like it! It's like frosted mini wheats, but not so sweet and with whole wheat and cinnamon (but with enough sweetness). I'd get it again, and try the other similar ones.

:) That's my favorite too!! I used to eat the normal Frosted Shredded Wheat cereal until I found out there was gelatin in it.  :( Ugh. Anyways, Kashi is much better! I also really like that the ingredients are really simple.. Organic whole grain wheat, organic evaporated cane juice, organic cinnamon, natural cinnamon flavor. The only other Kashi cereal I've tried was the Autumn Wheat variation, but it wasn't as exciting. It seems to be the same as Cinnamon Harvest without the cinnamon.

Yeah, that's how I figured that one would be. I do want to try the vanilla one, though..it's like "Island Vanilla."

Hmm, well if you do, let me know how it goes! My soymilk already tastes kind of vanilla-y, so I don't know if I'd buy it. Oh, and the last time I went to the store.. I bought more soymilk and FORGOT my cereal.  :'(

It's good. Not as good as the cinnamon, but it has a good vanilla/sweetness ratio.

I also made a cereal review! http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=41491.0
