Soy Chorizo brands...help

My boyfriend had found a fantastic tasting soy chorizo a while ago that we used in a jambalaya. Now i can't find it!
It wasn't Yves, Smart, morningstar or Tofurkey.... any ideas what other brand it might be?? i've got to find it again. I think it had a mostly red, plastic packaging.
thanks!

Trader Joe's Soy Chorizo?  I really have no idea. It's the only soy chorizo I've ever come into contact with... which reminds me... I want some.

El burrito is who makes "soyrizo." That's the main/only kind I've seen (no TJ's).

Even if it's not the one you are speaking of..it's freaking good.

I'm pretty sure the packaging is red and plastic-y.

Good luck finding the mystery soy chorizo!

I've only ever had Melissa's Soyrizo, and I love it.  I wonder if they all taste the same.  Has anyone tried more than one brand?

I made a freaking good meal with soyrizo, tonight! Warmed soyrizo mixed with rice, and topped with sour cilantro cream, and guacamole on top of mixed salad greens (also with sour cilantro cream). :hotforyou:

I have a tip, also. I was always annoyed by the "casing" on the soyrizo (mine comes in an outer plastic package, then the casing inside), but I've found an easier way. Instead of trying to squeeze the soyrizo out of the ends, I now cut both casings all the way down the center, lengthwise, and it all just falls out. I also scrape some out with my hands. There's not near as much left as I always had with the squeeze method.

this one is REALLY good! I put it in some chili I made for a superbowl party of meat-eaters and it was a HUGE HIT!!!
