If I had one, I used the Laura soybeans which are supposed to yield the best milk/tofu. http://www.tosteds.com/ All the people that recommend them say they are organic, but all I can find on the site is Non-GMO. I'm wondering its another one of those farms that grows "organically" but doesn't want to jump throuh the USDA's hoops to be able to use the word. IDK. Strange.

My daugter might get mad. Fluffy Shoe (the bunny) is hers. He loves living in a vegan house. More vegetable scrabs. He is so sweet. Now I want one for me.

When I was drinking soymilk, I used their soybeans. Not only are they nongmo but their beans are tasty! Best part yet is that they're cheap! 50lb box of beans costs 39 dollars plus shipping. After all is said and done I payed about $1.00 per pound of beans, but I had to pay tax since I live in Iowa, yours would be cheaper!
Seriously, they are top notch, the people are so helpful too. Also, if you're worried about getting such a large amount, don't be. They store for a good long time, I still have some left over from my 2008 batch, used some the other day and they are fantastic.

Oh that's awesome! What do/did you store the beans in?
I store part of them in a big container I got in a tuperware container set, its old, and you can't find many that big anymore. I store the rest in the box they came in.
They also sell a big bucket, with a tight fitting lid, but I like my storage arrangement

Nope! I asked the farmer how to store them and he told me as long as I kept them in a dry dark place they would last a long time. Like the original box for instance. :p
