Dandies air puffed vegan marshmallows
Mine arrived perfectly, and I really like them. I got them free as a coupon code thing. They are light, not grainy, and great flavor. I think I might like these more than s&s as far as marshmallows go. They are fluffier, and not as..intense? I probably wouldn't have intentionally sought these out, but glad to try them. If I wanted marshmallows in the future, I'd probably go for these.
Ok, no really, I remember when I got them at a conference, and they were totally fluffy and non-grainy. But they melt reaaally easily, and that's when the graininess and everything sticking together happened. I'd be afraid to order them for that reason (I usually take some risk on the shipping method, hehe).
When I got the dandies at a conference, they fused/melted together on the way home, so i was pretty wary of ordering them... but still, i think i like s&s better because of their burnability.
Giovanni Triple Treat Shampoo and Conditioner: My favority vegan shampoo/conditioner. It leaves your scalp feeling tingly and refreshed. I have very fine, oily, very long hair. This removes the excess oils at my scalp, doesn't dry out the ends, and leaves my hair soft and easy to detangle without weighing it down. They only complaint I have is the smell. It doesn't smell bad and isn't strong, but it does leave a minty scent in my hair. At least I'm not allergic to it.
Divvies Vegan Chocolate Chips: These are awesome. Very smooth and creamy. My better than what I buy locally. I won these, but they have a customer now.
Divvies BingGo! chocolate bars, Benjamint Crunch: Yummy. Tastes kjind of like a cross between a Crunch bar and an Andes Mint.
The Rossini Pizza with Upton's Naturals sausage is GOOD! The cheese gets very melty. The crust is decent. It sort of reminded me of skating rink pizza, but in a good way. I think I would add some other toppings to it if I ordered it again, but honestly I think I can make a pizza just as good at home. It was a nice treat, though!
The Amy's Kitchen rice mac and cheese is very rich and creamy. I liked it.
Leahey Garden's Mac and Cheese mix is still my favorite of the packaged stuff, though!
sounds like a disappointing haul =/
regarding probiotics, dogs and cats eat the purina fortiflora like it's crack. of course, it's made by the Man and expensive, but it's fairly cheap on amazon right now.
wait... weren't you the one who thought i ordered a lot from these places? i think this thread alone has upped your veganessentials expenses. XP
Here's my recent order:
Chocalive raw organic vegan truffles - SO Good!! I love these truffles - so far my favorites are the chocolate chip mint & dark chocolate crunch. They feel really good in my system & are absolutely delish! The only one I didn't love was the coconut one, but that may just be a personal preference. I didn't like my sexy chocolate all covered up with grated coconut - it didn't seem to "go."
Dr. Cow's Tree Nut Cheese (aged cashew & dulse) - I'm not sure if it was supposed to taste like it did, but to me it tasted spoiled. There was mold on it. I don't know what raw aged cheese is supposed to be like, but I ended up throwing this out.
NOTE: I just found out that this isn't supposed to taste like this (mine got moldy in transit as I didn't 2-day air ship it). I'd love to hear anyone else's feedback who has tried this!
Daiya 5# bag of cheddar cheese - love it! I buy this big daddy, then put it in several smaller bags to freeze. That's so much more economical than buying the smaller bags.
Sproutein Perfect Protein Superfood by Sprout Living - I love this! Best ingredients in a protein powder/superfoods drink mix that I've found yet. So excited about taking this with me for my travels.
Just a sidenote: Vegan Essentials just e-mailed me and told me they were giving me a refund for the raw cheese. I didn't ask for one, so I thought that was really awesome of them! They said it needs to be shipped 2-day air to keep it from going bad (which I didn't do).
I did get the cold pack. They said in their letter today that both daiya & the raw cheese need 2-day air not to go bad, but I've never needed anything but a cold pack for the daiya. I always ship it regular ground. I guess the dr. cow raw cheese is just more sensitive or something!
I've done regular shipping + cold pack for the dr. cow cheese, and it was fine (well... i think it was fine...). a little dried out, def no mold or anything. Maybe the stuff you got was already older stock?
I was wondering if that was the case. Kind of odd that it had big blue moldy spots all over it, when it arrived cold. Did you like that cheese when you tried it, fauna?
