do i really have to use tomatoes for it? or can i just use water and beans? im in college and i have no access to canned tomatoes!!! haha please hellppp

i actually reallly love fantastic food chili when im in a hurry...i mean its no homemade, but its a good substitute
Try putting a can of tomato paste in there instead of the tomatoes mixing it well. After it's boiled/prepared ladle some on a plate of spaghetti as a spaghetti with meat sauce kind of meal. ;)b
I remember making this in college too, but I can't remember if I used tomatoes or not. I think I did. But I remember thinking it was really good...how did yours turn out?
it was great! i was sooo excited!! we made tons. but we still haven't eaten all of it. lol. we're definitely making it more often.
