What can I do for more exercise and less possessed food cravings???

Hello everyone...I am at a crossroads. I want to be more healthy and I am not over weight, but I can only seem to get in a little walking in the morning (about a mile or so) and I have been having some issues with being possessed when I eat. I only eat healthy foods, but too much of anything is not good for the waist line! Like I can not even have nuts or nut butters in the house cause I will just eat and eat and eat them till I pop! I need some help and advice about what I should do. I am a stay at home mom with a 17 month old. I know some of my eating issues stem from just being around the house all the time. I know  I need to exercise more, and I would love to go jogging but everytime I try I just feel winded. I am 5'6 and about 125 to 130 lbs and I want to get back to the 120 to 125 range.....any advice on foods and exercise?

try to stop eating emotionally... foods that trigger you to eat too much (like me it is snack foods and nuts) don't buy them... keep yourself busy and only eat when you're physically hungry... write a to do list of stuff you need to get done/ want to do and do those things to keep yourself occupied... if you only eat when your hungry weight should not be a problem for you but keep the trigger foods out of the house it helps :)

Yeah I totally agree. I had some nuts here for a a recipe for my mom and I ended up eating all of them. Shame! But for real, I need to just start doing something else instead of eat....clean, walk, go outside, etc. I must do it for my daughter, I want her to have a more healthy relationship with food, and that starts with me.  :)>>>

Thank you for your advice...It is all the stuff I think of already, but it really helps to hear it from someone else too. I know my mom is getting tired of hearing about it, and my husband doesnt quite understand. But he is super supportive :) So im lucky there.

Not sure how to keep your minds off foods but maybe just to stop the cravings, find something else fruitful to do at home. How about learning and practicing yoga? I'm sure you can still find time for it.  ;)

I try and practice a little yoga and what-not daily....it helps for sure...Ive been trying to just clean or go outside, just anything to distract myself....And my new trick is making sure I have a little dessert to look forward to at the end of the day...It helps keep me focused on being good all day cause I have a little treat to look forward to....

Thanks!
