I woke up not feeling well either but mine is a sore throat and stuffiness due to a cold I caught from my visiting young cousins. :'(

I'd still recommend ginger! :) a good strong natural ginger soda can really clear your head. and tea for your throat. i've heard it's good to eat a clove or two of raw garlic to give your immune system a boost, i love garlic and have it every day so i've never tried it for that specific purpose.

It's better to get it out of your system first.
I suggest cold selter, saltines or orange juice even. But the orange juice that will either make you throw up or it will make you feel better.

eat ice cream or sherbet! whenever i feel like i have to puke i try to eat that stuff. it's nice and cool and if you end up having to puke it up it's really not so bad.. the sweetness covers up the bile flavor :P

Cumin works for me, in something otherwise bland, like rice. (And flat ginger ale too.)

I always go for bland. I like mildly salty broth and plain rice, no oil.
And... go to the doctor if it persists.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I'm beginning my third week of always feeling on the verge of vomiting (I have a G.I. thing and my doctor told me to ride it out). There are two diets that haven't fixed me, but at least I can eat.
The BRAT Diet Bananas Rice Appelsauce Toast
The Rice & Yogurt Diet Just eat rice and soy yogurt with active live cultures (to up your good bacteria) for a couple of days. It didn't work to heal me, but my stomach was much less upset.

They say dry toast, whoever they are! Hope you feel better soon.
7-up, or Sprite, and Saltine crackers
Ginger tea
Tea with toast (w/ honey if you eat that..)
White rice. Anything with ginger (I especially like ginger snaps when I'm feeling crummy).
Papaya and bananas are good antacids (Ate them while I had an ulcer). I also recommend ginger, toast, and unseasoned rice.
