Alleriges

I bought a new book called, "Natural Healing Wisdom and Know-How" and it's ginormous. I read many pages tonight and it was very helpful!   :) BUT when it comes to finding ways and methods to fight allergies, ALL methods I read about suggest veganism, flushing out your nasal passages, and yeah...that's pretty much all I got. I am vegan. I live with 6 people, 4 cats, and one dog. The doctors suggested removing them.  >:( They're silly. They should remove their children in that case.  ::) The animals are my brothers, nephews, and daughter so they're non-removeable. I HATE medicine but have a nebulizer as my only other option besides going to a hospital for asthma. Does anyone know how I can reduce allergies/asthma??? I'm up for anything! :-[

Yes, the doctors are dumb ( the R word will probably stir up some shizz), but have you tried kicking soy and wheat for a little bit and see if its that? Also, if it's convenient for your living situation can you try to get one little area *like a bedroom* clean enough so that hairs and dander don't bother you and get a humidifier and see if that helps after a few days or week. I mean really keep up with vaccumming, dust is also bad and not let the pets around for a while, just to see if its them or not, if possible.

Have you been to an allergist or just regular MD's? And do you think it could be mold or something in the house making you feel sick? That's all I can think of that could be making you feel icky, especially the food thing. Soy and wheat and corn are everywhere and sometimes we can get so overloaded on the stuff that it makes us react, though it may not necessarily be an allergy.

Also, try to get some good quality time outside near trees and other things that give off oxygen. Can you do steam inhalations with essential oils? That may help if you get scratchy throats.

Okay, now that's all I got, hope I helped! ;)b

So sorry I said that word. I changed it to silly!  :>  I wasn't thinking. Thank you! I will try kicking soy and wheat for a week. Never thought those could cause allergies! I vacuum daily and dust weekly...guess I'll pick up on the dusting. Thank you so much for your suggestions!!

Try drinking rooibos tea every day. It's supposed to help with allergies. If I can find the articles that I've read again then I'll give you the links.

Thanks! So how do I go about getting an allergy test? Just call up my doctor and ask?  :)

You'll probably have to call up your doctor and ask for a refferal to an allergy specialist.
