*GENERAL EXCHANGE GUIDELINES*
1. You must have been active on the forums for at least 6 months OR have 1,000 posts. If you've been here a while you're more likely to send out your package.
2. Don't flake on your partner, just like you wouldn't want your partner to flake on you. If you're unsure whether you'll have time/money to get a package together, don't sign up.
3. Bring it! Don't send out something crappy!
4. Homemade and/or store bought goodies are welcome.
5. This is an ALL VEGAN exchange.

edit: Depending on when we decide to have the deadline, I may need to ship out late and receive my gift late - I am moving house the weekend around the 28th of this month and would probably want to organise/post after this as I'll probably be quite busy beforehand. It would also be better to get my gift sent to the new place which may mean a delay in my person sending to me.
If that's not ok, then I'll have to step out.

My favourite candy/treat is :well, I'm trying to lose weight, so unlike SB you can send me healthy shit! But if you twist my arm, I will eat choc chip cookies, sugar cookies, anything pumpkin.....I like all kinds of sweets, but I'm not crazy about oatmeal in cookies or bars. I also love go max go bars.
My favourite colour is : teal, black, fall colors
My favourite cookie is: choc chip or iced sugar cookies
I am allergic to and/or hate these flavours: carrots, licorice
I really enjoy these flavours: pumpkin, anything spicy or hot
Items/ingredients I wish I could find in my area but can't: hmmm, not sure what I can't find. I like unusual ethnic spices and foods, especially if you tell me how to use them!
Items/ingredients I have available locally which others might be interested in: most things.....we have lots of ethnic foods, go max go candy bars, and dark choc bars made in nash. we have whole foods and trader joes
Cookbooks I don't own but would like to: Vegan Brunch, Vegan with a vengenance(lent it to a client and never got it back!), I don't have any indian cookbooks and would love some!

I am allergic to and/or hate these flavours: black licorice, (although anise is ok in somethings.. i am weird). Allergic to walnuts (well not me, but hubby, and i am sure that I will not be able to keep him from digging in.)
I really enjoy these flavours: Thai food stuffs, indian, asian.. pretty much a ton of stuff. weird random things are all good too!
Items/ingredients I wish I could find in my area but can't: vegan jerky/"meat" sticks. the one place that carried primal strips did so for 3 months then stopped. bastards.
Items/ingredients I have available locally which others might be interested in: hops, some neat little local shop things that have vegan things. nothing amazingly special since i am in eastern washington. but as has been posted in the past, i am in a agricultural town, so LOADS of mexican stuff.
Cookbooks I don't own but would like to: I am actually quite limited on vegan cookbooks, (thank god for VW!!) so any staple ones would be awesome.

My favourite candy/treat is: I'm still addicted to Swedish Fish. Haha! My favorite treats are Oreos and I really dig those vegan jerky Primal Strips things. I also love a nice serving of hummus or a piece of fresh fruit.
My favourite color is: Black and warm shades of blue. No bright colors or things with labels/designs on the outside.
My favourite cookie is: Oreos. Any variety. I also love oatmeal raisin, no bake, and molasses cookies. I'm a cookie fanatic so any variety is awesome.

Items/ingredients I wish I could find in my area but can't: Well, sadly, I now live again in an area where vegan/vegetarian is a foreign word. You're an outcast if you're "one of those". So annnnyyyythiiinnng vegan is greatly appreciated. This includes foods and/or products. I mentioned I like those vegan strips..can't find those anywhere here.
Items/ingredients I have available locally which others might be interested in: Sadly, we have the same as everyone else. Nothing special here.
Cookbooks: I'm still trying to tackle the book from Jess "Vegan With A Vengeance" and the book from Storm "Color Me Vegan". So, this may be cheating but while I master my cooking - if you decide to send a book - send something informational. I like things that teach me something about the world or how people think. Cultural/Social discussion or something that's important to you that you want me to learn about your perspective on life. I also like taboo subjects.

At this rate, I'm gong to have my entire package purchased before I find out my person and their likes/dislikes.
It's been a bit disconcerting. I wanted to get my person some maple syrup that has the consistency of thick honey, but my hfs doesn't sell it anymore. That's what I get for taking years to go through a container of it.
My favourite candy/treat is : I love chocolate and peanut butter, but as long as it is tasty I'm not too picky. I do not like sour treats. I am trying to loose some baby weight, so nothing way crazy would be appreciated.
