*GENERAL EXCHANGE GUIDELINES*
1. You must have been active on the forums for at least 6 months OR have 1,000 posts. If you've been here a while you're more likely to send out your package.
2. Don't flake on your partner, just like you wouldn't want your partner to flake on you. If you're unsure whether you'll have time/money to get a package together, don't sign up.
3. Bring it! Don't send out something crappy!
4. Homemade and/or store bought goodies are welcome.
5. This is an ALL VEGAN exchange.
Hahaha. Everything had to be covered in chili. The first time I had a lollipop like that no one told me and it freaked me out.

I miss buying tamales and elote off the Mexican lady by my school. Those were DAILY snacks. mmmm
My sister and I are big into stockings. I got her chili covered pineapple lollipops. Neither of use had/heard of them until we were adults, so they're still novelty fun and delicious.

Actual today, because here in future land we don't have a holiday with no mail because we don't have thanksgiving! So today is Friday. If it doesn't come today it is unlikely to come over the weekend and then I am away. But it is nearly 4 and hasn't come so may be out of luck. Darnit!

also, I've been waiting for something I ordered to arrive so I can send out my brother's Christmas present this weekend, and I just checked the tracking and it got delivered at my place about 10 minutes ago, so just because it's getting late in the day doesn't necessarily mean it won't arrive today!! : )
M will still be here so it will be taken in :) I just won't be able to open it - could you maybe check with my gifter if there is anything that needs to be taken out and refridgerated or anything?
Yay!! I'm so glad that your package FINALLY reached you (it only took 3 weeks)! Those are my favorite cookie to make and they have semi-sweet vegan chocolate chips in them. I normally make tem with Carib chips but couldn't find any. They freeze really well.

I hope you like everything after you try/cook with it. I wanted to do a Latin themed package since I was told you don't have access to a lot of those kinds of items. ;)
Nope, don't think I could have bought ANY of those items myself here.....even in the one posh/speciality shop we have.
And really those cookies are some of the best I've ever had.......not that they'd be anywhere near as good if I made them, but which recipe is it?

Here is my super belated picture of my amazing package from miss abrimmer! here is a list of what she sent
-the most awesome rich peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! (hubby "J" wants a copy of the recipe, but i told him i wasn't going to ask for it, b/c well, that would be our diet from now on if so)
-ginger chews! yummy!!
-holiday cookie cutters
-mini fall cutters with leaves and acorn and pumpkin shapes, gonna have a lot of fun making crackers! (J wanted to cut out squash for thanksgiving, you have no idea how much this package has inspired him! it has me too, but he is going insane!
-spicy chickpea snacks and spicy peanut snacks
-6, count them 6 primal strips!!! (they are soooooooo gone, like the cookies!!) mesquite lime, Thai peanut, and spicy shitake... i am a big fan of every flavor i have tried so far from them)
-measuring spoons!!! haha, i am finally in the "in" crowd, and i will be sending potential baking disasters in the next package.. beware.... muahaha)
-vegan with a vengeance, which is the same book that i got josh on the last xmas exchange, the only difference is i will actually use mine.
-flower pepper which miss abrimmer said she and her hubby were addicted to, and danggit! i am too now... pepper flower ftw, just know i will be running out sooner than i think... must.pace.my.self.
-Rescue Tails, a cute book of celebrities and their doggies and little notes from them about adopting rescue dogs, and for every book purchased they rescue one animal! (seriously love this one and we have all been looking at this sooo much... i want a puppy so bad, and i think we will be looking for a new place to move so we can get one soon)
-two boxes of kid friendly shaped cookies, which river claimed
-some beautiful play rings that river and i have been sporting
-a my little pony coloring magnet set that is all food related! river couldn't wait to open it. thank you for encouraging her to do her chores so fast! what an incentive
So the package arrived 4 days before i got home, but knowing there were cookies in there i had J open the package and put the cookies in the fridger, and i also allowed him to eat one for being so kind to do this for me, and he refused to til i got home, then after we tasted them, he said it was a very good thing he didn't so i was able to try them before he ate them all. I was totally blown away by this package, and it made me want to get home so much more... thank you so much! Can't wait for the next exchange!
