So that the heck! I am really getting tired of the changes taking place on here. First, fewer new recipes were posted to make more room for ads, and now this! I am thinking of no longer using this site if it keeps going down hill.

While I understand your frustration, I don't appreciate the way you're expressing it. You (and I and everyone else) get all that we get from this site for free. The very least we can do is express our constructive criticism with respect.
that is a good point that we get this for free. I guess that's why *I* am not saying something about the adds. Its most likely a huge job to keep up with this site and I fully give kudos to the person/people doing so.
I feel like maybe asking what most of the poeple wanted improved out of the site, or even just a friendly heads up in the QA section with maybe some rationale behind some of the more confusing changes (i.e. lack of ratings, loss of info, posting QA on the front page so the recent reviews are lost) might have been helpful.
This is really disappointing I went to my recipe box to find a great recipe that I save and saw nothing. Same feeling I got when my computer crashe'd and I hadn't backed up. From now on, I am going to print out any recipe that I like because you don't know when something like this will happen or if Vegweb goes out of business or any other calamity.
lfinkels and ShabbyChicVeg, your Recipe Boxes have been converted to the new system. Please allow another day for any grocery lists.

VegWeb is a wonderful place. Right now there are updates and changes happening. This is not a bad or frightening thing. This is essential to the life and longevity of vegweb itself. Programs get out of date, databases need to be updated and upgraded. Systems become obsolete.
Perhaps rather than complaining you could offer assistance or constructive advice about things that you liked best about the old system.
I am happy to sit patiently and await the unveiling of a modernized vegweb and assist Yvette if needed in this time of transition.

My recipe box is gone as well. I guess I'm not too good with change since the whole new format here is kinda freaking me out ;)
