Brothers, too!
Theo is going to make us a beautiful doll, and we are going to send her all over the world!!! The doll (she?) is going to start in NZ, and travel from there. There will be a journal included, and probably a blog. Take pictures with her, travel around with her, eat lunch, you know..whatever. Make stuff for her!

You're lucky Mr Theo had no part in making L'AC, The last doll I made was a Harry Potter doll for my HP obsessed friend'd birthday, and Mr Theo painstakingly sewed and stuffed a little penis then attached it to him under his robes. No one found it until late that night!
She actually cut it off and gave it back to him in a little box for his birthday... while playing the "dick in a box" song :P

Maybe we could name the doll Yvette? So she could travel around an know how much VW has given us? Then living at VegNews with WMLaura would be a perfect ending.
I have to consider what to make the doll. hhmmm Decisions decisions! She will need a small tote bag to drag along all of her possessions, jewelery, a lunch box (for the journey!) and of course felt food in the lunch box. So many people can contribute too. Yay!

I still say we should wait to see what she looks like to name her. Nothing at all against Yvette, but I dunno! I do think Li'l needs to be included!

So, I was thinking...
1. Would we rather have set people that we're going to send the doll to (that way the sendee will know when to expect, etc.), or have the sender choose from the list? In the former situation, the list will not be sent with the package, and everyone will only know 1 address.
2. Do we want to set a time frame of like ..2 weeks to have the doll?
I think it would be more fun as a surprise. But then people would have to let us know if they were going to be out of town. We def. need a time frame. Two weeks is good.
I agree with two weeks. That gives enough time to run around and do some interesting things.
Personally, I'm down with the element of surprise. But I'm one of those people that check the mail everyday.
And I'd love to be able to surprise someone else....2 weeks sounds good to me....

I'm already thinking of what to do and where to go with Li'l VW!! Everyone needs to make sure that they very obviously mark out the address of the person they send her to.... like with a diagonal line across their address that way someone doesn't get her twice and participants don't have to pay unnecessary shipping fees.
I'd sign up, but I have no idea whether a) I rate, or b) I'd still be in the country when my turn rolled around. Can I sign up as a latecomer in the future?

Yeah. If you want to send me your address, you can write a note about an address change/when it will be changing/when you want the doll to be sent to you, etc.
I'm going to post a little rule list thing at some point. : )
