just a taster to start : )
we had VWAV stroganoff and broccoli w/peanut sauce for dinner, Vegweb Cow was very well behaved

ha! N just asked me what I was tittering about and I told him about the photos of Mr oww squeezing vegweb cows face. And he just look at me and said 'squeezing vegweb cow's face' in a really questioning / puzzled voice and a really confused look on his face. He doesn't really get why it was so funny.
AND Mr oww thought no one would believe that he was squeezing vegweb cow's face. We have evidence! I saved her.

pumpkin potato empanadas, peruvian seitan skewers that weren't skewered, potato chickpea enchiladas, guacamole

we also made the spicy, salty beer, 'Michelada' and though we were all veeerrry skeptical right up until before the first sip.... it actually rocked! haha

Awesome photos!!! Looks like you guys had a great time. Did you get to try the queso? What did you think about it?
we did! We all had a taste on it's own then we used it in place of the pine nut crema in the enchilada recipe. Yummm! : )
Shell also left me with some of the nooch you sent her, which mr oww has eaten a bit of with a spoon and I am excited to try a noochy sauce with it and see how different it tastes to our regular stuff.

ha! I'm afraid of those peppers! Did you use them in something?
mirrya - the sauce was great. I've never had queso before (maybe a US thing?) but it made me want to try making one myself sometime.
Ha, erin - those peppers were used to make death sauce. Srsly death.
oh, and be jealous y'all - I get to visit oww again in less than 4 weeks time.
