Peer Pressure (buying cookbooks)

It's not like I don't already own about 10 vegan cookbooks and maybe 10 more vegetarian ones, and have the interet at my disposal, but I decided to add Vegan With A Vegance to my library.  I found it at Barnes and Nobles in Miami Beach (the one back home didn't have it).

Besides the peer pressure from you guys, there did seem to be several tempeh recipes which sold me.

Too bad I'm too busy working and going to school to really cook much lately.  But I'll have plenty of cooking time when school ends.

I'll let you know how it works out.

Well Tweety, let me be the first to tell you that you should definitely make the Tempeh Sausage Crumbles on pg 22. Actually, you shoud double this recipe.

Then you should take one batch of the crumbles & make the White Bean & Tempeh Sausage Gravy on pg 27. If you can make decent biscuits, serve over biscuits. If not, serve over brown rice.

Then you should use the other batch of crumbles to add to salads, pizza, pasta, pretty much whatever! (If you even have an entire batch of them left after making the gravy above! Funny how a few spoonfuls here & one or two spoonfuls there & the extra crumbles are gone!)

You HAVE to make the pumpkin muffins. They are sooooooooooo awesome. The tempeh bacon is wicked, the fronch toast is wicked, the cold udon and seitan is wicked. OMG so much wicked.

Yes, definitely make the crumbles. I had to stop myself from eating them all right out of the pan the other night when I was making the biscuits & gravy.

Has anyone made the sweet potato crepes yet???????  ::)
