Ya, I am going to sound pretty pathetic right about now.... I am looking for more friends on FB, Twitter, Foursquare, and diaspora. I just don't have that many vegan friends there...

I love having vegan friends on FB. I'll look for you. I'm at work on break and Twitter and FB are blocked.
Being used to up a friend count is like bad casual sex. Not that I wouldn't friend you if I knew you, but you should post more here. At least that way it's improved/degraded to friends with benefits.

What's your favorite vw recipe? My first car was a 77 VW Rabbit, does that count? I think that there is a vegan mac and cheese recipe that I lifted and modified a bit from here.

We like the same movies, except for Fahrenheit 9/11 (that's the Michael Moore one?), which I haven't seen. There aren't a lot of other people in the world down with both Zentropa and The Jerk.

I only have hulu, so I miss the cable shoes, but I try to wake up early enough to start my morning with the previous day's Daily Show. Someone gushed about New Girl so I finally watched it and it's funny; I don't know what I was expecting. If you like the Star Treks, did you like Firefly?

ha. I stalked kitty photos and noticed you already answered some of the same questions there. I can't believe you have so many in-focus pictures of Ripley and Bella. My cat, Cat, wouldn't stay still for anything.

Your profile questions (although I'm not the best to answer, since I avoid cooking).
A question for you:
If you were watching a cooking show what information would you want to know? What information wouldn't you? If you were to cook vegetarian or vegan what would you want to know? What are you afraid of? What is something you wanted to do but thought you would mess it up? what have you messed up and why? Care to expand on any of the above?
(1) How to experiment (e.g., which herbs and spices compliment each other). (2) I like organic ingredients, but I find it presumptuous when people include organic or "freshly ground black pepper". The people who will use one or both, will regardless. (3) How to really open a coconut. I see it done by popping the top off with a cleaver, but can't replicate it. (4) Cutting or burning myself. (5) Fondant. (6) Yeast breads sometimes spread too wide and are flat, but I don't know why.
It is the Michael Moore one. He is one of my favorite movie makers.
I only have Hulu as well. I miss my cable shows. I wish that HBO and hulu made a deal. I would even pay more money to have HBO / Showtime on hulu+. You should try Whitney too. It is pretty funny. I haven't watched the Firefly yet. Right now I am working on Babaloyn 5 on Netflix. I caught it twards the end of it's demise on TV.
Belive me I push the shutter button multiple times to try to get a decent shot.

Secondbase that is my all time most favorite movie ever. I used to know almost that entire movie (what I could understand over the thick English "accents") by heart and would say the lines line by line whilst watching it (usually drunk...).

I've never seen Zentropa, but who in the world isn't down with The Jerk? That's one of the greatest comedies of all time.
