I was telling my neighbours today when I was out with Cali that I wanted to buy a BBQ this year (mine died years ago).  Their daughter who is turning 40 next week and visiting them looked at me and said, "a BBQ?  What would YOU use it for?"  >:(
It caught me off guard.  All I could think of saying was potatoes, corn, veggies, veggie burgers........
All the while, what was on her parents BBQ at the time was potatoes!  I never realized that BBQ's were just for dead animals.
Speaking of BBQ's, does anyone know a good vegetarian BBQ cookbook?  Now that I finally have a kitchen and will be getting a BBQ, I actually want to start cooking instead of slapping a meal together.
