It's Friday Night...and we are all online!!!! Ahhh, hehe, what are you doing home on a friday night???
I'm watching My best friends wedding on TBS :) was watching scrubs before that...what are you guys doing??

i just got home from lollapalooza and taking a rest before i wash all this dirt off of me. it's nasty.
Just got home from a small dinner party. The hostess was awesome and had tons of vegan food for me and the other vegheads there. She rocked...she's a great cook...and she's not even vegetarian. lol
Must have been a good fest!
OK, I watched TV, did laundry, emailed Lezly a long newsy email and started to think about all the crap I have to do tomorrow!
Oh, I even fed the critters!
It was fun...and much wine was involved...hehe
I went out with friends and my dear hubby for drinks and pool, met other friends out celebrating a birthday and bailed on everybody so I could come home and call my sister (I know, loser, but we have some family issues that needed to be discussed and I couldn't very well do it with a beer buzz).
Will is asleep...I've checked my e-mail...and I suppose I should be in bed..../
It's thunder storming in New York City. I take comfort in the fact that 8 million other people are also indoors. :D

Hey, Cheezees! I'm in NYC too. I stayed later at the party to avoid the really BAD part of the storm. I hope it will cool us down a bit. I'm ready for fall....

Yeah the weather kinda sucks. And the thunder was pretty loud. Scared my cats. By next Friday it's supposed to cool down. Fall is my fav. season so I really can't wait. ;)
i worked until 12:30, then went to a friends birthday party (riding my bike up a large hill was involved, we high-fived after!)
danced, drank lots of water, then rode home (the hill paid me back)
now to collapse and read einstein's dreams and fall into sweet sweet slumber
its not friday night anymore but i was at work too :( same again tonight woohoo

Hey, I like that sentiment! I ride my bike to work (only about a mile) and it's pretty much all uphill on the way to work, but that makes the ride home soooo easy at the end of the day!
You guys think you're uncool! I had been asleep for hours by the time y'all were talking last night! ;)
hey lime green what you thinking of einsteins dreams? i started reading after my uncle tld me it was good, he gets his students to read it, i never finished it although i was enjoying it, think i might go get it again cos i just finished my book!!
cycling up hills has its rewards, on my way to work there is a long gradual uphill, on my way home - no work and much quicker :) ilove my bike :)
ginger, i'm enjoying it so far. although i am a physics geek and a writer, so it's just up my alley.

I still have my GI thing, so I'm at home reading the September (!) 2007 Shambhala Sun magazine. The feature story is about Thich Nhat Hahn. They have advertisements, including a Buddhist temple being sold near Ithaca, New York. I'd like it if just for this bathroom:

all this bike talk is making me nuts! yesterday morning it went outside to find that someone had stolen my rear wheel & gears off my bike. i am not happy. >:(
I stayed home tonight (it's not quite Sunday) and made Cashew Alfredo and watched Mel Gibson's Apocalypto . . . it was intense. I'm exhaused, but now I'm in one of those deep, pondering moods.
Has anyone else seen it? It's about an indigenous tribe that is captured by the Mayans to be used for ritual sacrifices.
