oooh that is clever! i wish people would give me things with their address! things like a giant butcher block, mandoline slicer, silpat mats, pastry bags, springform pans, loaf pans, ebelskiever pan..... yeah it was a bad idea to visit the upscale kitchen supply store on my lunchbreak yesterday

ebelskiever are little round pancake type balls. i think it would be really hard to veganize, there are fluffy egg whites involved, so i'm not sure what i would do with a pan. oh AND i spelled it wrong

OH! (Slaps forehead). My Danish great-aunt used to make those! We just called them "those round cakes." I've seen many and many of those pans hanging in Midwestern kitchens, but no one ever said "aebleskiver" at me before. ;)

The "Favorite Av" thread sparked a rash of avatar changing and upgrading. I figured Dinkfeet was simply expressing her joy at having the new pan live with her. I mean thats what you do to things you love right?
