Change is good....? (2006 forum format feedback)

I am usually not one to complain when things change for the better, but I have to say this new layout sort of sucks (for me, anyway). I really do not like it. :-[
This is the standard for almost all message boards in use today. The prior board was a bit, erm, prehistoric in nature and I don't doubt bug laden.
It will take some getting used too but I am sure this will be a fabulous change for the better for everyone!
I like it because you have more options for posting pictures and smilies :o and the most recent post is bumped up to the top. ;D :D
I really prefer this format. It's easier to follow the threads. I hated the other format and didn't really follow it because of that. Yay, change is good! ;D
I'm not a big fan of this format either, but oh, well. We must bow to progress! Besides, this is probably much easier for admin to deal with. We'll get used to it. :)
I very much agree w/ all of what everyone has said...I KNOW it is progress....I just like the other way better...but I will get used to it. It won't hinder my using this site! I guess I'm just getting old...I like to "kick it" Old-school-style!!! :P Give me my AARP card so I can get my senior discounts early!! hehehe....

VegWeb was my first message board experience back in the day (1997? 1998?) so I was used to the format, and thought other board formats were strange!
I like both, really. I can adapt to any user system, though.
Holy sparkles, I didn't even remember that was my signature. Perhaps I should change it. Princess sparkles? I think Marlene used to call me that, right? Geez, it's been so long since I actually posted regularly, that I'd forgotten all about it.
