Any Dave Ramsey fans?

I know there's probably a bunch of you here who are struggling financially or trying to get out of debt. That's pretty much me. I have lots of debt and I've cut out so much of the crap spending from my budget. Wondering if anyone is a Dave Ramsey listener and if it's helped at all?
Seems to be helping me, but I'd love to talk to someone who ISN'T on his show who has an opinion.
I listen to the Dave Ramsey's podcast! I really like his financial philosophy, even though I don't agree with some of the political rants he will occassionally go on. He's made me think twice about a lot of the things we do, like buy everything with a credit card for the rewards (even though we pay the full balance each month). I've never been one to rack up credit card debt, but we are going to keep piling on the student loan debt for the next few years until my husband finishes school, so I really can't execute a lot of his strategies quite yet, but I feel like his teachings are very valuable for changing your frame of reference about money. I'd really like to get his Total Money Makeover book.
I know there are a couple other fans on here as well....he came up in another thread.
