Hi everyone..
i'm a new vegan (only been doing this about 2 months) and i really want to stick with it however i'm having a hard time keeping weight on.. i'm keeping track of my calories (2100 - 2300 calories a day, and i'm only 5'1 and already pretty thin) and trying to eat a lot of whole grains, i've heard that this is part of the detox process but i'm scared that i'm doing something wrong. does anyone have any advice, or been through the same thing??
Good job eating 2000+ calories. I do the same thing! I eat mono meals of high carb fruit during the day and for dinner I have salad with rice/steamed veggies. I've lost a lot of weight doing that, in addition to cutting out oil, gluten, chocolate, and nuts.
It sounds like you're doing a good job. Good lucky!
