HI everyone, My name is Emily and I am from Worcester (that is Wista, not Worceshter ) MA by way of Rochester, NY. I am a self described "semi vegan"  ( I don't eat dairy out right, but if made with I will) making the transition outright vegan. I became a vegetarian in 7th grade when I was around 13.My parents forced me to eat chicken and turkey and dubbed me a "flying vegetarian".  However, once I went to college I stopped eating poultry as well and the rest is history.  My vegetarianism has evolved naturally over the years and now I feel it is time to go all the way to become a vegan.
I am a huge propionate of animal rights and always have been. I am very active with a Pug rescue group, where I am foster home coordinator. I have my own Pug, Sherman. I am also owned by a cat named TikiBird. I have also fostered several pugs, who now have forever families. There is nothing like rescuing/ adopting an unwanted dog. I strong suggest everyone do it ( don't shop,adopt). I am looking to meet new people who share the values and interests that I do
