Hi! I have scouted around this site for a little while now and i thought I would introduce myself. I have been vegetarian for about five years and pretty much Vegan for a year. I am Mormon/LDS which puts in a major minority amongst my faith which is ironic since so many leaders of my Church have made statements over the years concerning the treatment of animals and the avoidance of meat. I am the adminstrator of a Facebook group Mormon Vegetarians, so if there are any Mormons out there, or people invesigating the Church feel free to check out our group, here's the link:http://www.facebook.com/groups/2247600845/. My wife and I are both vegetarians, and her mom is mostly vegetarian. Still working on my family though. I guess that is me in a nutshell.
Welcome. That looks like a very good FB page. All the best.
Welcome. This group is very encouraging and full of information. I wish you well. It can be hard when you find your beliefs say you need to watch your ethics more than others who share simmilar general beliefs. Ask away on the questions. I will cheer for you and let those who know more actually answer.
Being a vegetarian is healthy. I think vegetables are much more cheaper than meat so you can save a lot of money. More important is that veggies is more healthier than meat and vegetables are available at helsebutikken.
