Making the switch!
Hello, hello! Tomorrow begins the transformation I have been looking forward to and dreading all at the same time. I started reading ultra man athlete Rich Roll's book called "Finding Ultra" and it suddenly clicked. I was one of those people that thought ultra endurance athletes couldn't get enough protein from anything but meat, but after much research I have come to realize that is just not so. Tomorrow I start my journey into going Vegan. I will be documenting all of my changes how I feel, look, perform, sleep, etc. I welcome all advice that is to be had and I will try and post how my journey is going on a regular basis. Thanks in advance for the help..
IBNFE, welcome to VegWeb, and congratulations on your transformation! You're in for an exciting ride, and one that is healthy, delicious, and satisfying. The key is to get down a dozen or so of your favorite recipes, and you'll be a thriving vegan in no time. Can't wait to hear your updates!
Yay! Great news and welcome to the club. Def be sure to post any questions you have in the forums. The site just got revamped and the bugs are being worked out, but this is a great community!
one of my favorite vegan sites is http://www.rhiw.blogspot.com/ - a member on here (quintess) runs the blog and has written some great books on vegan diet and health. i find her work to really help me when i'm not feeling healthy with my eating.
