What do you collect?

I'm not big on collecting things but I have a small hand bell collection, including the school bell that was used in the second school I taught in.  I also have and odd plate collection.  When I see an unusual or particularly attractive dinner or serving plate I'll buy it and use it for serving cakes, cookies, sandwiches, etc... So, what do you guys collect?

empty glass bottles.
sometimes i paint them, but i really like the look of ramune bottles, so i leave them be.

I collect feathers to an extent.

Used to collect elephants.

Now I mainly collect pictures (that I take) of mushrooms I find.

...add piggies to my list!  I started collecting piggy stuff and I have no idea why.  It just kind of happened.

fairy figurines

Me too. I have just over 50 faeries of all sizes and types. My biggest is just over 3 feet tall and my smallest is about 3 inches tall. :)

I collect pigs.  I started with antique piggy banks.  They are hard to find, since they got broken into to get the money out.  thirty five years ago my neighbor at the time made me some pig cutting boards, and it took off from there.  I have pig every thing. dishes, a stapler, pillows, salt and pepper shakers, nick knacks, cups and saucers, a little pig vacuum cleaner, just every thing you can imagine. I probably only bought three of them.  Now I have had to move into Senior housing and don't have room to display them all.  I am trying to come up with free standing shelving or a china closet that most of them will fit in.  I also collect recipes and recipe books, though many of them are stuck in a storage box in a relatives garage where I can't get at them right now.  I am hopeless when I comes to recipes.  I know I will never make most of them but I have to print them off the internet, or copy them from a magazine or ask for them from someone who made something I liked eating.  I am a fool for a good recipe.    I also can't pass up a piece of fabric if it is pretty and on sale or free, like at a yard sale.  My bedroom closet is full of fabric that I will probably never sew on.
