Etsy Vegwebbers?

I am wondering if there are any vegwebbers that are also on Etsy?

I found Heliamphora- although I didn't see any listings!

I recently joined Etsy, where I am selling vegan burlesque accessories- my name there is LadyAmbrosiaCharm.

I would love to connect with other vegan sales people! :D

I have a friend who sells her art on etsy.  I think her name is brilliant.

It is: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=4188

She had a picture of this:

With half of Hitchcock's face on either side of it.  I thought that was awesome.

I'm thinking about starting one. Since i cant seem to find a job.
I'm just trying to figure out if i'll actually make enough things so its worthy of being started. And if i can pay to make it and still have profit.

Doesn't it cost money to start up?

It costs something like 40 cents to list an item.

I'm working on starting one up too!

Oooo. For some reason i thought it was like. 100 dollars to start it up. Or something like that.
I might just have to give it a shot!

Nope, it's very easy to start up.  I started working on one with Allison, and it's still in progress.  Our original idea was vegan food/baked goods.  Plus potholders and other little things.  We got the banner and everything!  It's been on pause though.

I'm going to start an Etsy shop early next year. I am making alternative/punk/gothic/sci-fi dressy things, like dresses, corsets, pants, and tops. Trying to find alt fashion for men that is actually fashionable to wear that men will actually wear, but looking at the stocks of clothes for men in places like Nordstrom and Amazon, I think I am going to stick to making men's clothes for myself only.

I've bought plenty on things on Etsy, but I'm still working on my own store. I would like to start selling some artwork (mostly drawings and clay sculptures), but I have to figure out the whole cost vs. benefit thing. Maybe I will open an Etsy store in January if I can't find a new job. I've been making a little bit of money with my cafepress and zazzle stores, which helps with the bills every now and then. Plus I need to finish my children's book I've been working on forever and figure out how to get it published. Maybe being laid off won't be so bad after all :) I might actually get something done.

I just opened a shop on etsy.  I make and sale vegan dog treats as well as knit items.  I only have a few things on so far.  It was a lot of work to figure out if it is worth it or not, shipping costs and legal business.  There is a lot of things to learn too like advertising, which I am not good at.  I am more of a behind the scenes type person:)  It's actually 20 cents an item for four months, so the price isn't bad, but you do have to etsy 3.5% of your earnings. Best wishes to those thinking about it or who have signed up.

I should start one, because I certainly spend enough money on there! My fave purchase recently was a meat free t-shirt in the colors of John Deere tractors. It gets a lot of conversations started. I wear it on casual Fridays to work.

I've sold one or two knitted things, but that's it.  Hope to get more merch up again!

I recently started a shop(http://www.etsy.com/shop/quvqiv) of crochet accessories. Unfortunately I haven't had much time lately to add more things, but I hope to gradually build my shop.

Is anyone a part of EtsyVeg? http://etsyveg.blogspot.com/ I actually just discovered this group today. Sounds like a good idea to build a community of vegetarian/vegan artisans.
