NVR - "Ho Ho Ho" offensive?
Okay, so I'm all for respecting people's wishes and do my best to not offend people willingly and/or try to be sensitive to other's ideas, beliefs, etc, but sometimes I think we go way too far. Case in point, this article...

I mean, seriously? Has anyone ever heard Santa say "Ho ho ho" and thought "wow, that's so degrading to women"? Has anyone even considered that beyond a passing, joking thought of, "Heh heh, he said 'ho'"? I wonder if someone actually complained about this or if it's just a case of the company walking on egg shells. Either way I think we've gotten way too sensitive as a whole.

I mean really this just gets me so mad that I have to reply again. We changed the meaning of "Ho" some time ago to be a deragatory term for a woman. Now we are offended if someone uses it in one of it's original ways? People suck.
I saw this on the Yahoo! website...and all I could think of was, "Yeah, there's not much else to worry about...we've cured AIDS, reversed global warming, solved the world poverty problem and there isn't a single famine, flood or firestorm on the planet...but Ho! Ho! Ho! That HAS to go!"

hperhaps skanky, lewd santa.... sans children.... goggling women and making other innapropriate jesters/commments and using the "ho ho ho" as part of it... offensive. but i dont think this is a case of "all santas"... not sure if it happens. prob at some points.
