Heading to Universal Orlando in April (WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER!!) and am hoping to scope out some vegan options before I get there--anyone know anything about eating at Universal? I'm also on a budget, so I'm hoping for some cheaper options...
A quick google search shows there's a bunch of Indian places and a Whole Foods near there.
I live about an hour and a half out from Orlando, and when I went to HP land my options were okay. Don't expect to get Butterbeer, or anything in the Three Broomsticks, but they have pretty abundant qualities of fruit, and the pumpkin juice is veg-friendly. Around the entrance there's a Moe's, too. I honestly didn't scope out much more than that because I didn't want to custom-order things, but you certainly won't starve.
The prices are obscene though so maybe you should pack a lunch anyway. It was $3 for bottled water at most places. Dx
I'm also heading to Universal soon, and I was actually about to post here for some ideas. I thought I'd look through old posts to make sure I wasn't duplicating, et voilà! underSARAH, thanks for linking to that other post as well. It's super helpful! It's nice to know that there are so many vegan veggie burger options. It used to be that most places carried veggie burgers full of eggs and stuff.
Now that I don't have to worry about food, I'm so excited to go to Florida! Woohoo! :D
We are also heading out that way in October! I'm not 100% vegan yet, but at least now I know where I can go...thanks! ;)b
