do you have a vegan restaurant in your city?

we have one in denver called the watercourse... i'd eat there every night if i could.

Yes, it's called Wild Cow. There are two other vegetarian restaurants but not completely vegan. Nashville ain't the most vegan friendly place on earth

Yes!!  Sublime (in Ft Lauderdale) and The Cafe at Books and Books (South Beach).  Also, there is The Cafe a Mostly Vegetarian Place with vegan fair (Key West).

sounds amazing! I'm pretty lucky, the Twin Cities has a few...Neopolitian is raw and totally vegan. Most of the others are vegetarian with many vegan options. Pizza Luce, (which isn't all vegeatarian,) and Galactic pizza serve vegan pizzas.

Spiral Diner in Fort Worth. A vegan oasis in cowtown! It was my favorite restaurant long before I stopped eating meat and dairy.

HA! A vegan restaurant? In AR??!!

Many restaurants here still struggle with the concept that chickens are not vegetables. Vegan restaurants... may still be a little ways off.

There's a vegetarian deli in Little Rock. I had it mapped out for when I drove across the country. I didn't end up eating there because I passed through Little Rock around 1am

There's appearently a "vegetarian friendly" restaurant in Geneva called Le Kidd. I've never been, I've read their menu and there's a couple vegan options. I should go sometime. There's also a vegan bakery/cafe here too that I've been to a couple times. I had my birthday cake made there and it was delicious. They also sell freshly made spring rolls, lentil salads, seaweed salads, vegan sushi, typical swiss-french tarts and deserts (but vegan) and savory tarts and pies as well. And a soy cafe au lait  ;)b. One of the organic stores too here has a vegan croissant that they sell for their petit dejuner.

Plenty of the ethnic restaurants offer vegan things too, like the Eritrean restaurants for example.

I'm curious about this... I know of several that are veg-friendly, but none that are completely vegetarian/ vegan. Lemme know if you remember the name of it or anything -- thanks!

There's a Subway and  Quiznos where I live. In the town I work, there's a Subway.

There's a town a little over an hour away where my co-op is and where I do my grocery shopping, and it has a vegetarian restaurant where I can get vegan stuff. Also, they have a Quizno's, and I can get vegan there.

I can't wait to move away from this forsaken place to a REAL location, with restaurants I can eat at and people with open minds and hopefully a beach and .... :)

It's called 4square Deli. It's vegetarian, but not vegan (though it does have vegan options)

There is an all vegan resturant in Orlando (about 2 hours from where I live) that is good.  The resturants around me have options for vegans but mainly focus on omni foods.  Chipoltes is the best bet for vegan eats.  I'm sure there are more smaller options south but I have not checked them out.

I'm in Williamsburg, VA, so there are some restaurants with vegan options (Indian, Thai, Chipotle--though I hate cilantro and their rice is all cilantro'd up  :'( -- and a cafe with good vegan options and soy beverages and vegan cookies) but definitely no vegan restaurants.  I asked where the tofu was in the grocery store when I first moved here and they asked me if that was a type of cheese.

BUT I'm going to Maine at the end of the month to visit le fiance and there is a vegan restaurant in Portland at which I have been promised a date.

JenLoves: that's funny to me because here the tofu is usually displayed in the refrigerated cheese section (sometimes even the silken).  Took me awhile to find it.  I've wondered if people have bought it thinking it's a new cheese.  I can't imagine what they think once they try it.
As for vegan restaurants...nope.  There are a couple of vegetarian places in the city, but they are cheese dependent.  There is one ok place, el Arbol -if you make sure they don't sprinkle cheese on your soup and skip the gelatin based dessert.  On the plus side it's cheap and quick.

Blegh, as much as I love tofu, the idea of eating it sliced expecting it to be cheese is horrifying.  That reminds me of a roommate I had who used to just eat tofu out of the package with a fork.  It made me want to just die.  :o

I also forgot to mention that we have a zpizza here, which will deliver you a delicious pizza covered in veggies and daiya cheese.  Which is something of a minor miracle.
