What did you cook / Eat today? .....A question to drool

We can share in this place, our daily intake of what we cooked and ate.This can be Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.
This can be a real fun thread if people post the photographs too.

Today I prepared Fawa beans-Potato spicy curry and Rotis (Indian breads are my wife's department)
Ate with leftover rice and Moong beans spicy curry and Naga chutney. :)>>>

Are you on a diet or sumtin?

Not exactly, but yet sort of.  I'm in "bootcamp" and I sometimes go for several days eating only (or mostly) raw foods.  I blame Capture and her Rawgust adventure for getting me started on this.  ;)

Oh wow, you all eat awesomeness every day.  My day was typical: breakfast = banana, lunch = N/A (I had cafeteria duty today), dinner = salad. 

Alas, I've no time to cook.

Tonight is typical spicy Indian lentil dal and plain rice.

Made "nth" batch of Salsa . My salsa is generally with a twist.
Tomatos+Onion+Jalapenos(Roasted)+Garlic+Cilantro+Lime Juice+Sugar +Sea salt+ Tomato Puree
Pinch of Cinnamon powder+Clove powder pinch+Cummin Powder 3 pinches to 4 pinches = Best Salsa  you would die for. !!
Quantity 2.5 pounds.

Dinner started with jicama with lime juice and chili pepper. We had "quesadillas" but we've named them avocadillas. Mashed avocado with some diced jalapeno spread on a tortilla with some sauteed tofu, green bell pepper, onion, and carrot. Also,  saffron rice leftover from dinner a few days ago (bean and rice burritos with nooch "queso").

Breakfast snack-banana and zucchini bread
Breakfast-regular oatmeal
Lunch-kind of hashbrowns with potatoes, zucchini, and onion, and creamy peanut kale with green onion and mushroom
Snack-zucchini bread
Dinner-made up casserole with eggplant, tomato sauce, mushroom/onion/tofu/miso mix, and pasta
Snack-.........I'd like to say it will be a piece of fruit

Breaky: same pita toasts as yesterday, and a tiny box of muesli mixed with puffed quinoa (which I needed to use up), orange segments, fresh pineapple pieces and vanilla soy milk.

Snack: moar fresh pineapple, and a soy latte.

Lunch: a small can of tomato soup (the only vegan one I can buy is WW - how odd) and a hunk of cheap fluffy supermarket baguette, plus some tabouli from the deli in another hunk of the baguette.

Snack: two nectarines and some organic cola.

Dinner: macaroni in a cheezy tomato and basil sauce, perhaps with some carrots, 'cause they be the last veggie in my fridgie. Oh! and asparagus, yay.

eta: Dessert: lots of chocolate and vanilla soy ice cream! because the fridge-freezer will be turned off tomorrow pre-house-move. Wish I had some of you to help me eat it - I have a third-to-half each of two 1-litre tubs. :o

P.S.  MY TUMMY IS RUMBLING. :wow:

I love Onions myself. Keps one healthy.!! :)>>>

Breakfast:
-Coffee with almond milk
-Kashi Heart to Heart Cereal with Almond milk
-Apple
Lunch:
-Banana
-Green Bar from Whole Foods
Snack
-Steamed broccoli with teriyaki sauce
-Baby carrots with Annie's ranch sauce
Dinner
-Tomato Soup
-Grilled cheese
Dessert
-Chocolate chips & peanut butter heated up in the microwave...yumm

It kinda looks like a lot.....oh well  ;)

Breakfast
A banana, a cup of tea, some Weetabix and chocolate cereal... together XD, and a slice of toast with marmalade because the cafeteria had wholemeal bread for the first time in EIGHT WEEKS! *feels spoiled*

Snack
An apple, some black tea, a ginger snap.

Lunch
A bit of underseasoned rice/veggie biryani thing, a nice wholemeal roll, and lots of pea soup and salad.

Another Snack
An orange, a carrot, another cup of tea, and a bit of bread with pickle.

Dinner
God only knows what the refectory will feed me next.

I have eaten two target brand fruit medley granola bars (TRY THEM, i am addicted!)
Some potato chips and right now I'm eating a cold leftover sunshine burger sandwich with rice bread, pickles and ketchup.  :)

Ahhh what a lovely day for me! Pretty healthy, although now that I think about it, there's very little green veg here, which is what I try to go heaviest on...

Brekkie-
Whole wheat tortilla with some Tofutti cream cheese and homemade tomato jam

Lunch-
Baba ganoush with green bell pepper strips and carrots
Brookeisbest's Roasted Cauliflower with Indian "BBQ sauce" (I changed the sauce a bit-- see my recent review)
A slice of Brookeisbest's Pumpkin Gingerbread
2 small new potatoes
Grapefruit "soda"

Snack-
Giant apple

I'm still hungry though, so I'm running out to the HFS for something, I don't know what.

I made a killer seitan stew w/ dumplings for dinner.  Comfort food at its finest.

lunch:  lima bean soup concoction that I sort of got off of vegweb and then altered
snack:  2 of the bars carrot wench sent me
dinner:  the recipe on here for easy palak alu is in the oven now

lunch:  green beans & broth (I forget to bring my lunch to work)
snack:  cashews (I found them on my desk, they were kind of old)

  that is not enough food!!  get back in that kitchen and fix something else!!!!

It's because I forgot to bring my lunch to work with me.  I ate what I found scrounging around.  And I haven't had the tomatoes yet.  I have to wait an hour and a half until I'm home from work.  I'll probably have some seitan, too.  It thaws super quick.
