Vegan Thanksgiving Menu

Hello,

This thanksgiving will be my family and I's first completely vegan thanksgiving, I think I'll be using a stuffed pumpkin as a main attraction. What about everyone else? What's your Thanksgiving menu look like?

Happy Cooking!

Do they sell Tofurkey there? I saw on a blog the other day that Tofurkey has a kit out with their traditional stuff plus a vegan chocolate cake by Amy's and a bunch of coupons.

This year I am going over to a close family's friends house since I am not going home for the holidays, Luckily their son's family is vegan so I am looking forward to all the delectable vegan goodies!
I am bringing my famous chocolate chips cookies and sweet potato casserole :)

dang, you guys are awesome! I wish my immediate family were bigger so I could cook for them. I'm sure my mom will eat some things I make but my sis discriminates against vegan food.

I'm going to my sister's house tomorrow and her BF's giant family is going to be there (all omni adults, and two little kids that I think are supposed to be 10 & 14). His mom is a professional French chef so there is sure to be omni food everywhere. Soo I'm just bringing food that I would eat on a normal day because no one's going to pay attention to me and if they do I'll be considered strange anyway. haha. so:

Black bean soup -Vcon
chickpea cutlets -Vcon
roasted green beans/asparagus
pumpkin pie -VW

I might make some chocolate cupcakes for the kids because I've never met them and I'll be encouraged to mingle with them. But, I dunno.

My contribution to the family Thanksgiving feast (also--the food I was able to eat):

-Sweet Potato/Apple/Walnut Bake
-Mushroom gravy
-Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, & Thyme Stuffing
-Tofu pumpkin pie

My aunt set aside some mashed potatoes without the milk and butter for me :)

All that, some cranberry sauce, and a healthy dose of red wine...a good Thanksgiving, I think.

My roommate and I are about the only people sticking around on campus for Thanksgiving. And I'm cooking! Because she's not vegan.

So we're having:
Chickpea Cutlets from Veganomicon
cornbread
mashed potatoes with Jalapeno Corn Gravy (also from veganomicon)
green bean casserole
Acorn Squash with Pecan Cherry Stuffing from The Urban Vegan
Alicia Silverstone's cranberry sauce
pumpkin pie
and apple cider!

I am so excited! I love cooking for other people. Have a happy Vegan Thanksgiving!

Going to my in laws for Thanksgiving, as of now at least 20 people will be there and not a one is vegetarian much less vegan.  Praline  Sweet Potato Casserole and Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie are going for certain.  Spicy Cranberry Salsa over creme chess sounds amazing ...

I need 'cheap' recipes, any suggestions ??

Will be making a spicy cornbread stuffing with jalapenos and soyrizo.  Stuffing is where its at.

I'm making Dinner at my house.  The menu is Tofurky with gravy, southern cornbread dressing from vegweb, roasted vegetables with rosemary, green bean casserole from vegweb, maybe some southern greens, pumpkin pie and maple pecan pie from Vpits, cranberry orange relish, and vanilla tofutti icecream.  I decided to make my own vegan dinner this year so I can eat in my backyard under the stars.  Now that the menus down I have to make the playlist and finish the settings in the yard.  I'm only having 10-15 people tops.
