Vegan Alternative to MS Farms Breakfast Strips?

Is there a commercially available easy to prepare veggie breakfast strip out there? We like the MS Farms Breakfast strips but they have dairy in them :(
LightLife has Smart Bacon which I think is pretty good.
Or if you have the cookbook Vegan with a Vengeance, her tempeh bacon strips have gotten great reviews, although I have not tried them yet.
And there is something out there called Fakin' Bacon -- a tempeh product you'll find in the tofu section. I have not tried it either.
cool thanks! I am not sure I will be able to premake bacon every week for my family (we already premake the rest of breakfast lol) but who knows :) I will look for lightlife stuff tho, I think we have that here :)
Smart Bacon from LiteLife is 100% better than MSF's 'bacon'!
Also you could possibly make your own using the tofu bacon recipe here that Shelly will link shortly. ;)
Tofurky makes a lot of good vegan sausages now -Kielbasa, Italian Sausage, and Bratwurts. They are VERY good. Possibly they make vegan breakfast sausgage or bacon?
So I am trying the smartlife strips and they are just ok. :/ I have been cooking them in the toaster oven, are they tastier some other way?
Whole Foods market has tempeh bacon strips in the cold section with the other tofu/tempeh products...they are called "fakin bacon". Really good, and I don't even like tempeh! I used them on TLT's (tempeh, lettuce and tomato) with jalepeno jack soy cheese and some veganaise...my husband (an onmi) LOVED them...I did too. YUM. Vegan w/ a Vengeance cookbook also has a recip in it for homemade tempeh bacon.
i guess I should have made them with things instead of having them as their own side dish? I bet these would be tasty in a sandwich.
Honestly I prefer to break out my grill pan (square frying pan with raised inner ridges). Pour in a generous amount of veg or canola oil and fry them up. That makes them taste most like what I recall bacon as. Of course these you have to be carefull about overcooking. So take them out when they look a few min from done. That way they won't harden up and break into dust when eating them.
I love the Smart Bacon. I cook with it in entrees but I also like it as a side to tofu scramble and home fries! mmmm I know what I want to make this weekend.
Smart Bacon makes really good BLTs too -- slathered with copious amounts of Vegenaise, of course!
I bought the fakin bakin and have to say, for us, its the best :) it travels well after being cooked, its tasty by itself or in sammiches mmm :) thanks everyone for your ideas and suggestions!!
