I try to catch the CBS show Sunday Morning with my father each week and today I was glad I did. They had a segment on near the end which covered the story of some military men in Baghdad (excuse my spelling :o) who saved the local zoo there from being looted and disrupted and also became the "go to guys" for any homeless or abandoned animals. Now, I am in no way whatsoever in support of the war in Iraq or in other parts of the Middle East, however, it was refreshing to hear what they called "a story of hope".

Also the image they left us with today was of a new National Forest in England. It used to be royal hunting grounds but is now converted to a nationally protected area. Sweet :)
