According to the Silk website all of their products are strictly vegan, but after browsing the label of a raspberry flavored Silk Live! Smoothie and reading the word "L. Casei" I'm curious as to whether this is of any relation to casein, a milk derivative.  I've noticed that sometimes "dairy free" or "cholesterol free" doesn't necessarily mean "vegan."  Is that the case in this instance, or is the naming just an uncanny coincidence?  What is the source of this particular culture?  Anyone know?
