Can honey or maple syrup be subsituted instead sugar?
Can honey or maple syrup be substituted for sugar? It if you can what is the measurement in comparison, such when a recipe calls for 1 cup of sugar, how much honey would you use?
Of course you can substitute for sugar. Here's a list I found-everything is what you would substitute for 1 c. sugar.: 3/4 c. honey (reduce the liquid in the by 1/4 for each 3/4 c. honey used), 3/4 c. maple syrup (reduce the liquid by 3-4 tbs). Hope this helps.
