Benz Zuchinni Bread

Has anyone tried this recipe with other fruits or veggies? I've made this recipe several times & it's perfect. Now I want to peachify it, subbing peaches for the zucchini. Do you think it will turn out OK?
I was looking for a peach quick bread on line & came across a recipe where they cook the peaches in peach schnapps 1st. It sound good to me, what do you think? Do you think it would be better to just leave the dern peaches alone? Please note - I'm using frozen ones - if that matters. :-\

BTW, I'm making this for a (non veg) picnic on Saturday.
I think it would work, as long as the peaches aren't too runny when they're grated/mashed. Since the recipe calls for 2-3 cups of zucchini, I'd probably use the smaller amount, especially if the peaches are juicy.
But...have a back-up plan just in case it doesn't work.
