Meet Up groups

So I was do a google on denver vegetarian to try and find resources in my area and I came across something called a meet up group. Apparently its a group of vegetarians that get together about once a month for potlucks/events and to share tips and such. Have any of you ever gone to a meet up group in your area????

Yes, they are fun! Well, I started a veg meetup group in my city, and met a few veg heads that way.
I also know the company personally, from a previous job, and can vouch that the people behind it and the company itself are A+!
PK I guess there is one in Boulder (vegan meetup) and in Denver (vegetarian meet up) in case you are interested. Are you in Boulder yet?

My check engine light came on, so I'm bringing it into the dealership today. As soon as they take care of that, I'm heading down. Tentative plan (if I have the car back by then) will be to start the drive on Saturday, and maybe space it out a few days, depending on how I'm feeling.
Have any of you ever gone to a meet up group in your area????
I joined my area group back in MI but was never able to make it to any of the functions. They didn't have many and I just received notification that the group closed due to lack of leadership.
yeah, I went to ones in Tucson and Maine/New Hampshire. Plan on going to ones here in Ct too...I love MU groups. they have em for almost anything you can imagine...biking hiking,writing, cooking, religion, families, language, etc....
But we all know the vegan ones are best. ;-)
