Albany NY - Three Board! July

This is for the MEGA HUGE THREE BOARD albany veggie party!

Veggieboards has the thread started and invites to other boards are welcomed, so I will be the "go to" to get vegwebbers in on the action! the PPK has also been invited. LucidAnne, Camillus, DR, and BP will be there to help get the party started!

Info: July 20 in Albany, NY. It isn't at my crib, but close enough. Vegan potluck. Bring stuff to share and eat what others have brought! make friends! have fun on a sunday! It is being hosted by RabidChild from VB. I know where she lives, and it isn't hard to get to (out of towners - you won't get lost!)

please respond here if you need more info and I can PM you (also can email me at my email address listed in my profile).

we are accommodating food allergies - so far no nuts, no bananas.

i'm still surprised that they DID IT.

its like, ohh, i found some berries in the back yard. at least this bush makes me think it is berries. lets eat them to see if they are yummers!  ::)

I'm not all that surprised, but I know the boy quite well at this point. It is both to my advantage, and often my disgust, that he will consume anything. It is to my advantage because I can be like "Hey! I made this weird vegan thing!" and he'll say "OK!" and tuck into it no questions asked. Things like basement wine fit more into the latter category.

I had a cupcake last night. It was delicious. With the whole National Grid Incident, I got really panicky about my leftover ice cream sandwiches. The first NG guy I talked to sounded like it wouldn't be fixed for DAYS and I thought "Oh crap, I'm gonna have to call bp to take these ice cream sammiches or they're all gonna melt and have to be thrown out!!" Fortunately, the crisis was averted with restored power before my freezer thawed.

aww, that's good. i think we have one left of the ones we came home with. i'll just say, it was a pretty sucky week for me at school. (not that i needed an excuse to pig out on them-- they were very yummy and the icecream didn't turn into a rock!)
